St. Catherine of Siena is our model of spirituality and her crest is on our uniform. She holds a book because she is the Doctor of the Church. She wears a crown of thorns because she received the stigmata of Jesus crucified. The Fleur-de-lis is due to her vow of chastity and purity at an early age. The banner repeats her saying that we will achieve "Peace in union with God."
The Lion is our mascot at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School. The lion stands for having pride in ourselves, our work, and our school. It also stands for the courage we need as a small school to stand tall next to larger schools.
"Be it known to all who enter St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School that Christ is the reason for this school. He is the unseen but ever present teacher in its classes. He is the model of its faculty and the inspiration of its students." --Author Unknown
